An experienced house building professional with over 25 years experience in the industry, 15 years at Director Level, the last 5 years as Managing Director of regional offices of volume house builders. Originally from a land and technical background I have developed an in depth knowledge of all aspects of the new house building process from land acquisition, planning and development, social housing, construction, sales, marketing and customer care. As Managing Director of the Essex Region of two top 5 house builders I was responsible for budget preparation, delivery and reporting of volume building in excess of 500 units per annum and annual turnover in excess of £140 m.

  • Ipswich, Suffolk – Master-planning, project management and development of 1200 units on former Ipswich Airfield in partnership with Ipswich Borough Council in one of Ipswich’s most deprived wards. Including a New school, local centre and extension of a Country Park have created a desirable place where revenues are now above average for the town.
  • Neptune Quay, Ipswich, Suffolk – Catalyst for residential development around Wet Dock. Conceived and delivered first major residential development on Northern Quays on former car park site Waterways.
  • Quadrant, Leyton, East London – redevelopment of four corners of Leyton Orient Football Club in conjunction with Match room to create 144 mixed tenure apartments in an established residential area adjacent to Olympic Park. Land receipt used to regenerate stadium to create modern 10,000 capacity ground.
  • Boardwalk, Poplar, East London – winner of design/development tender on one of the last major disposals of LDDC adjacent to Poplar Dock. Complex ground conditions and construction over Limehouse Link road tunnel of a mixed development of 476 houses and apartments.
